Family Picnic at Glen Meadows

 

Imagine:Hamburg, along with the Sesquicentennial Committee, is sponsoring an "Old Fashion Family Picnic" in celebration of The Village of Hamburg 150th Anniversary, on Sunday, June 30th from 1:00-4:00pm at Glen Meadows Park on Oakhill Drive.

The picnic will begin with a Flag Ceremony led by the Scouts, followed by a Tree Dedication Ceremony, for a newly planted tree, donated by the Environmental Commission.

A lunch of hot dogs or hamburgers, assorted sides, dessert, and drinks will be served. There will be fun activities for all ages, including arts and crafts, games, a roving magician, an antique fire truck on site, and more.

This will be an environmentally friendly event. All disposable paper products will be biodegradable. Drinks will be served in cups from bulk containers to avoid cans and plastic containers.

Tickets will be available at www.villageofhamburg150.com beginning May 13th. The cost is $5 per person with a maximum family contribution of $20.
